When You Want to Look and Feel Different

Sex and The City was such a memorable TV series. The series featured so many controversial and comical issues. They even discussed breast cancer and how it affected women who were afflicted with it. In one scene Samantha and Carrie try on ladies wigs because Samantha did not want to people to see her bald head. Samantha was embarrassed to admit to the salesman that she had cancer.

Ladies wigs have always been around for ladies whether they were sick or not. Ladies wigs became very popular during the Hollywood’s golden age when such screen legends as Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn made them famous. Wigs became fashionable also in the 60s and 70s when performers would wear them to concerts and TV shows. Today ladies wigs are worn for fashion shoots, for parties and anytime women want to look different.
